What happens when an owner disputes a settlement.

When a settlement is sent, the owner can accept it or dispute it. Disputes are tracked to resolution with a full audit trail.

Resolving a dispute

  1. 1 Open Settlements → Disputes to see what's pending, with each owner's reason.
  2. 2 Investigate, then resolve with a note.
  3. 3 If a correction is needed, add an adjustment — an amount and description that applies to the next (or a chosen) period.
Note: Corrections are additive: a fix is recorded as a separate adjustment linked back to the dispute, so the original settlement and its history stay intact and auditable. The acknowledgement log captures who acted, when, and from where.
