Ownership modes: direct, timeshare & points

Pick the model that matches how your property is owned.

For operators · 3 min read

Each property has an ownership mode that shapes how revenue and usage work.

The modes

  • Direct (fractional) — owners hold a share of specific units and earn the revenue of their units. This is the default and the basis for revenue balancing.
  • Timeshare (days) — owners are allocated a number of days per year in a room category and book within that allowance.
  • Points — owners hold annual points and spend them per night, with room types priced in points and peak-season multipliers.
Notas: Revenue balancing and room rotation apply to direct ownership. Timeshare and points use allocations and point ledgers instead — see the Timeshare category.
