Contracts, dates & transfers

Assign, edit and end ownership contracts over time.

For operators · 3 min read

Ownership is modelled as contracts: each links an owner to a unit with a percentage share and a date range. This lets ownership change hands cleanly over time.

Managing a contract

  1. 1 Assign — from an owner's page, pick units, a start date and a percentage. You can assign several units at once.
  2. 2 Edit — change the start/end date or percentage of an existing contract.
  3. 3 End — set an end date to close a contract (for a sale or transfer). Settlements and history before that date stay intact.

A contract counts as active when its start date is on or before the day in question and its end date is empty or still in the future. Statements and balancing always use the ownership that was active for the dates involved.

Note: Each contract can override the property's allowance and visibility defaults — leave them blank to inherit, or set them to tailor a specific owner.
