Units & room types
How units, capacity and PMS room types fit together.

Units are your individual rooms or apartments. They're imported during the first PMS sync and listed on the property's detail page.
What a unit carries
- •A code/name and capacity.
- •A unit type (room, apartment, suite, villa).
- •A link to its PMS room type — this is what keeps balancing and rotation honest.
- •Its ownership over time (one or more contracts).
Notas: Room type matters: the revenue balancer and the routing engine only ever move a booking within the same PMS room type. A Junior Suite booking is never shifted onto a Presidential Suite.
